Terms and conditions for lessons packages

  • When a lesson package is purchased, the client is obliged to complete the package within 9 weeks for 5 lessons package, 14 weeks for 10 lessons package, 19 weeks for 15 lessons packageIf the student doesn't finish with the lessons within the given time, the package is considered completed. 

  • If a student needs to cancel a lesson, s/he must do so no later than 24 hours before the start of class, otherwise s/he will lose the lesson. The session can be cancelled via email or a message on social networks. In case of an emergency situation, the client must immediately notify the instructor and later agree on how / if the lesson will be replaced.

  • If the student doesn’t arrive for the lesson in the first 20 min from the lesson’s agreed start time without previously contacting the tutor over a message or an email, the lesson is void and is considered completed without the possibility of substitution in an alternative date. 

  • No lesson may be rescheduled/ cancelled twice. If a student has already rescheduled a lesson as is unable to attend it again, the lesson will be replaced by an e-lesson. The reason for rescheduling/cancelling will not be taken in regard.

General Terms and Conditions

By sending the order in the sales form, you confirm that you have been provided with the statutory information before concluding the contract, that you have read my terms and conditions and that you fully understand and agree with them. Therefore, please, read them carefully before ordering or purchasing English with Suzie products. 

Consumer information

Before you decide to purchase any product /service I offer, it is my legal duty to inform you about my company and the rules of my trading with you via the internet, i.e. trading by means of distance communication.

1. Introductory provisions

1.1   These terms and conditions apply to the services of the seller, English with Suzie, concluded with the buyer through remote communication via the interface of the seller’s website www.englishwithsuzie.com or via e-mail or telephone contact between the buyer and the seller.


1.2   These terms and conditions further define and specify the rights and obligations of the buyer (customer) and the seller, which is a natural person in business. In matters not regulated by the purchase contract and these terms and conditions, this relationship is governed by the Civil Code and consumer protection legislation. The provisions of the terms and conditions are an integral part of the purchase agreement.


1.3   These terms and conditions are listed on the seller’s website and apply to the sale of the seller’s products and services on the website www.englishwithsuzie.com.

2. Orders and Purchases

2.1   The designation of the product, a description of its main features and the price are listed on the pages of the individual services. English with Suzie is not a VAT registered subject. The price is also always stated on the invoice. The sales offer remains valid as long as it is displayed on the web interface.


2.2   You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with your rights contained within the Sale of Goods Act 1979, Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999.


2.3   If you wish to purchase any product or service made available through the Service (“Purchase”), you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Purchase including, without limitation, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.


2.4   You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Purchase; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete. You expressly agree that English with Suzie is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the submission of false or inaccurate information.


2.5   By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases. 


2.6   The order of language services always contains information about the customer, ordering services, prices, payment options. Payments are accepted by bank transfer, Revolut transfer, by PayPal or by paying via bank card. 


2.7   The contractual relationship between the seller and the customer arises by placing an order for language services (not after confirming the order). From this moment, mutual rights and obligations arise between the buyer and the seller, which are defined by the purchase contract and these terms and conditions. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read  the terms and conditions and that you agree with them. The condition for a valid order of English courses is the delivery of invoicing data (buyer’s address and number of agreed English lessons/ courses/ online products) to the seller.


2.8   Information on individual technical steps leading to the conclusion of the contract is contractual from the ordering process and the customer has the opportunity to confirm and possibly correct the order before sending it. The information provided in the order is correct for the seller.


2.9   The customer agrees to the use of distance communication when concluding the contract.


2.10   The Agreement is concluded in English language. The contract, resp. the relevant tax document will be stored in the electronic archive of the seller for a period of 5 years from its conclusion for the purpose of its successful fulfilment and is not accessible to a third non-participating party.

3. Price and Tax Document

3.1   The price of products, goods and services is listed on the selected web interface of the seller. The price is always stated on the invoice. 


3.2   Invoice: The Seller issues invoices regarding payments made on the basis of the customer’s contract sent to the customer’s email box. After payment, the invoice serves as proof of purchase of the product or service. The seller is not a VAT payer. 


3.3   The purchase price is valid within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract (from the date of issue of the invoice), unless otherwise stated, the customer’s obligation is to pay for the product / goods or service is fulfilled when the relevant amount is credited to the seller’s account.

4. Delivery Method

4.1   Electronic materials will be delivered within 3 working days after the payment is credited to the seller’s account. After delivery of the materials, please get the maximum functionality and availability of content as soon as possible. If you find any deficiencies or defects, please correct the seller so they can be corrected. 


4.2   Online tuition will be provided by a mutually agreed date. If we do not agree on a deadline within 4 weeks from the date the course payment is credited to the seller’s account, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract.


4.3   Products that the seller sells via the web interface, including their content, are subject to legal protection under copyright. Any distribution, copying or provision to anyone without the author’s, English with Suzie’s, written consent is prohibited. Authorization to exercise the right to use the copyright work may be granted to customers only on the basis of license agreements. The customer is liable to the seller for the damage he causes by violating the rights to copyright protection.

5. Termination

5.1   The seller may terminate or suspend your access to purchased products immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation,  if you breach the Terms and Conditions.


5.2   Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.


5.3   All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

6. Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies

6.1   The seller is  constantly updating the offerings of products and services on the ‘What I offer’. The products or services available on ‘What I offer’ page may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and delays may be experienced in updating information on the ‘What I offer’ page and in English with Suzie advertising on other web sites. You expressly agree that any such offer of a product or service does not constitute a legal offer capable of attracting legal consequences.


6.2   The seller cannot and does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. The seller reserves the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice. Section “Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies” is without prejudice to existing statutory rights.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1   The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of English with Suzie and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United Kingdom and foreign countries. The seller’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of English with Suzie.

8. Links To Other Web Sites

8.1   English with Suzie service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the seller.


8.2   The seller has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that English with Suzie shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.


8.3   English with Suzie strongly advises you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

9. Embedded content from other websites

9.1   Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.


9.2   These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

10. Cookies

10.1   If you leave a comment on English with Suzie site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.


10.2   If you visit English with Suzie login page, the website will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.


10.3   When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

11. Governing Law

11.1   These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.


11.2   The seller’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between English with Suzie regarding the offered products, and supersede and replace any prior agreements the seller and the consumer might have between us regarding the products in question.

12. Limitation Of Liability

12.1   In no event shall English with Suzie, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not the seller has been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

13. Disclaimer

13.1   Your use of the English with Suzie services and products is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.


13.2   English with Suzie and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the service will meet your requirements.

14. Exclusions

14.1   Without limiting the generality of the foregoing and notwithstanding any other provision of these terms, under no circumstances will English with Suzie ever be liable to you or any other person for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary loss or damage arising from, connected with, or relating to your use of the seller’s services and products, these Terms, the subject matter of these Terms, the termination of these Terms or otherwise, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, business, markets, savings, income, profits, use, production, reputation or goodwill, anticipated or otherwise, or economic loss, under any theory of liability (whether in contract, tort, strict liability or any other theory or law or equity), regardless of any negligence or other fault or wrongdoing (including without limitation gross negligence and fundamental breach) by English with Suzie or any person for whom English with Suzie is responsible.

15. Changes

15.1   English with Suzie reserves the right, at the seller’s sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, the seller will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at the seller’s sole discretion.


15.2   By continuing to access or use English with Suzie services and products, after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
